About
My wife and I love the craftsman / arts & crafts niche.
We have been restoring our 1920 humble home and have enjoyed the journey.
We started Monroe Craftsman to be a helpful resource for our fellow craftsman / arts & crafts lovers.
And as a landing page for my handcrafted scale model business.
Thanks for stopping by.

Travel
We have gained practical ideas from our travels. From the wainscot walls at the Marston House, to the garage doors in Bungalow Heaven, getting out and seeing craftsman homes has provided us with actionable ideas. And a lot of enjoyment.
Restoring
We have learned a lot restoring our 1920 craftsman. From replacing all the interior & exterior doors, to installing “RQWO” flooring, to trim and casing, to furnishing, to frames and finding art, to craftsman fences, and more, there is a lot to learn.
